Job Description:
Job Description Responsibilities: Assist with all internal and
external HR-related matters. Participate in developing
organizational guidelines and procedures. Recommend strategies to
motivate employees. Assist with the recruitment process by
identifying candidates, conducting reference checks and issuing
employment contracts. Sourcing and interviewing candidates
Investigate complaints brought forward by employees. Coordinate
employee development plans and performance management. Perform
orientations and update records of new staff. Manage the
organization---s employee database and prepare reports. Produce and
submit reports on general HR activity. Assist with budget
monitoring and payroll. Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends
and best practices. Requirements: Bachelors degree in human
resources or related (essential). 2 years of experience as an HR
coordinator (essential). Deep understanding of Labor Law and
employment equity regulations. Efficient HR administration and
people management skills. Excellent record-keeping skills.
Fantastic knowledge of HR functions and best practices. Excellent
written and verbal communication skills. Works comfortably under
pressure and meets tight deadlines. Superb computer literacy with
capability in email, MS Office and related HR software. Remarkable
organizational and conflict management skills. Strong
decision-making and problem-solving skills. Meticulous attention to
detail. Education and/or Experience Bachelor---s Degree; or minimum
five years--- relevant experience and/or training; equivalent
combination of education and experience. - Additional knowledge or
experience in HR is a big plus. - Knowledge of and/or experience in
the real estate industry is a plus. Other Skills and Abilities ---
Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills --- Must be a
self-starter and comfortable with a modest amount of ambiguity as
the company grows --- Must be able to manage, organize, and update
relevant data using spreadsheets --- Must have excellent
customer-facing skills with regards to telephone and written
communication skills --- Ability to understand the applicant
qualifications and how they fit in with the needs of the
organization --- Ability to exercise sound judgment and work
independently --- Relationship building skills, must be a good
connector, who loves to meet new people and knows how to use every
opportunity to network and to turn it into business results.
Language Skills Fluent English language skills --- reading,
writing, and spoken. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret
documents such as technical procedures, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine
reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before
groups of customers or employees. Computer Skills Strong working
knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including intermediate
to advanced skills with Excel. Comfortable with Gmail and
willingness to learn Google Docs, Google Sheets (G-Suite) required.
Salesforce or other CRM experience is a plus. Social media
recruitment strategies and IT technologies will be a plus;
specifically utilizing an ATS. Physical Demands This is sedentary
work which requires the following physical activities: reaching,
sitting, lifting (---25 pounds), finger dexterity, grasping,
feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity.
Work Environment Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor
office setting with adequate ventilation. The office work
environment can be boisterous. Attire is business casual.
