ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY Role Profile Position: HR Coordinator/Executive Assistant Job Location: Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX Operating Business: ERIKS Seals and Plastics, Inc. Job Type: Full-Time Status: Exempt
Summary of the Role The HR Coordinator/Executive Assistant will be responsible for Human Resources related duties which both support and partner with all employees as well as supporting the CEO with administrative requirements. This position will have responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruiting, employee engagement, onboarding, employee relations, training, and communication, payroll and benefits. This position reports to the CEO and the Human Resources Business Partner. Human Resources Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for creating job postings, sourcing, screening, reference checking and facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions for all locations. Collaborates with managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Onboard new hires through the hiring and training process.
  • Serve as an employee advocate for new hires as well as established employees.
  • Implements new hire onboarding and employee recognition programs.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Coordinates payroll processing through payroll provider.
  • Manages all benefits administration, training and supports open enrollment.
  • Facilitates communications related to HR initiatives throughout the organization
  • Support annual/ongoing projects such as performance review and salary planning processes, and talent management initiatives.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain paper and electronic HR filing systems.

    Executive Assistant Responsibilities:

    • Organize and prepare relevant briefing or background materials for meetings.
    • Support follow up communication following strategic meetings.
    • Draft, review and send company communications on behalf of CEO.

    • Prepare key documents for CEO and Leadership Team electronic signature through Docusign and manage signed document files.
    • Other duties as required.

      • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
      • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

        Qualifications

        • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required
        • Previous experience in recruitment and employee engagement
        • 3-5 Years of Human Resources experience; Executive Administration Support a plus.
