Director, Information Technology - Southwest Transplant Alliance Register to Be a Donor Volunteer With Us F T L I Who We Are Who We Serve About Donation Foundation Partners Careers Director, Information Technology OVERVIEW The Director of Information Technology directs all aspects of information technology including strategic IT planning and leadership, enhancing technological capability, and assuring effective IT support for the organization. The Director recommends and deploys budget and resources to maximize IT value and impact, with attention to streamlining and standardizing business processes, addressing organizational needs, supporting STA's strategic plan and enabling efficient data-gathering and reporting for business operations, management, planning, and decision-making.--EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE NEEDED

• Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred.
• Five or more years of IT-specific supervisory or managerial experience required.
• Experience working in the healthcare industry a plus.--
• Project management certification for agile and/or waterfall a plus. Knowledge of Role-based access control (RBAC) data management security preferred.--
• Knowledge of current and emerging technologies and principles of IT management, best practices, and technology solution strategies. Knowledge of the capabilities and requirements of various technology solutions, application development methodologies, and execution in the IT arena.
• Must demonstrate highly effective analytical, interpersonal, project management, and time management skills.
• Ability to cope with high levels of stress and able to handle a heavy workload.
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests and meet assigned deadlines.--
• Proficient in MSOffice, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must have the ability to provide clear written and oral instruction related to complex processes, communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, and to represent the organization publicly.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team required.
• Ability to travel light and commercial aircraft or drive his/her personal auto to meet all job duties and responsibilities. Current driver's license required. Download the career profile.
