Job DescriptionThe Fiber Service Delivery Coordinator position acts as a liaison between the Fiber team, the Company's customers, contractors, Network Operations, Operations departments and outside vendors. This position is the primary point of contact to ensure that seamless provisioning and installation service is delivered. The Fiber Service Delivery Coordinator maintains an important relationship with all responsible teams during the provisioning and installation period. This position will transition the customer to the end of the provisioning and installation period. This position will often handle, facilitate and resolve day to day and escalated issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Receive and process completed service orders from the Company's Sales department • Establish communication with customer; oversee project development, resourcing and implementation; understand project scope; acquire and manage the necessary resources and set customer expectations • Create and monitor project milestones; include all necessary tasks and dependencies • Schedule installations and pre-requisite network upgrades • Coordinate outside contractors• Complete product provisioning surveys; return survey's to the Company's Network and Operations representatives • Facilitate setup and verify service monitoring with the Company's Network Operations department • Solicit formal and informal feedback from customers after the installation process; use the feedback to implement best practices; provide metrics reports to the management team • Provide product training for customers • Analyze processes and procedures; suggest improvements and implement best practices • Facilitate and resolve escalated issues • Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities • None (Varies) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, solid understanding of Microsoft Excel• Customer service oriented with passion for high customer satisfaction and achieving operational excellence; ability to interact with all levels of staff, senior management, internal and external customers • Ability to analyze and define problems, prioritize work flow, multitask, meet deadlines and remain flexible • Must be able to demonstrate attention to accuracy on all duties and responsibilities • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Must comply with Company and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) established safety policies and requirements Physical Demands and Working Environment • Physical demands: The position requires the incumbent to remain in the sitting position for prolonged hours. While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. • Work environment: Working conditions may include being in an open (shared) cubicle/workspace area.
