opportunity for an IT Manager to join our IT Operations team in
Dallas, TX.
The ideal candidate will lead technology projects within our IT
department, manage technology rollouts, manage vendor contracts and
relationships, establish and monitor KPI data points for quarterly
reports and ensure alignment of our IT strategies with our company
goals. Reporting to the Vice President of IT, this role will work
closely with the IT team and other technology leaders in the
organization. By building strong connections throughout the
organization, the IT Manager will ensure successful project
outcomes and play a key role in integrating core systems across the
company.Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Project Leadership
and Delivery
- Lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion,
ensuring they meet scope, timeline, and budget requirements.
- Drive project objectives using solid project management skills
and prioritize projects with respect to the organizations business
objectives and/or ROI.
- Develop project plans, allocate resources, and track progress
to ensure timely delivery.
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvement
opportunities where applicable.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project goals,
deliverables, and timelines.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to
minimize impact.General Responsibilities and Function
- Document network and system diagrams, process flow diagrams,
setup/maintenance procedures, and backup/recovery procedures.
- Manage external vendors and contracts
- Coordinate technology components of jobsite setups including
managing/coordinating third-party support.
- Assist in establishing and tracking SaaS and software usage
KPIs and reporting metrics.Technical Acumen
- Demonstrate deep technical knowledge across a wide range of
technologies, including software, hardware, networks, and cloud
platforms.
- Troubleshoot complex IT issues, providing guidance on technical
problems and potential solutions.
- Evaluate new technologies and trends, providing recommendations
that align with business objectives.Non-Essential Functions &
Responsibilities:
- Other duties that may be assigned.EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, &
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Administration,
or related field
- 5-7 years progressive IT support experience and managing
support tickets.
- 5-7 years' experience in a business or professional
setting.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft products/services (i.e., Azure AD,
Intune, M365, SharePoint, etc.)
- Strong/Expert knowledge of Microsoft power platform (Power
Apps, Power Automate, Fabric, etc.)
- 3+ years' experience with cross platform integrations
(connectors, APIs, etc.) and workflow automations.
- Excellent ability to troubleshoot technical issues, identify
root cause, and resolve problems.
- Proven experience in managing IT teams, projects, and
budgets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in using business software and tools, including MS
Office and project management applications.
- Experience with Service Desk Plus and Zoho Analytics
