The Legal Intern will support one or more of our Centers of Excellence, including our IP, Gaming/Commercial, and Privacy divisions, with global activities across various time zones and cultures. The Legal Intern will be able to work virtually, from almost anywhere within the United States. The ideal candidate will be proactive, efficient, highly organized, detail -oriented, discreet, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities. This is a great opportunity to do real in-house legal work and develop real legal skills on a friendly and dedicated remote legal team.   • Provide support to in-house counsel on a variety of matters within the IP, Gaming/Commercial, and/or Privacy Divisions as directed by the assigned in-house Counsel, Senior-Counsel, or General Counsel
  • Perform legal research and prepare the appropriate reports and summaries--
  • Assist with analyzing and reviewing legal documents
  • Work on special projects as directed--
  • Assist with analyzing legal issues impacting the business
  • Under the direction of in-house counsel, perform drafting, processing, revising, tracking, and filing of a wide range of documents and general commercial agreements
  • Process priority and rush assignments effectively and efficiently
  • Authorized to work in the United StatesWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
    • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
    • Must have finished first year of law school at an accredited United States institution
    • Self-motivated and efficient
    • Ability to work remotely
    • Ability to efficiently manage a large workload and react promptly to multiple deadlines while meeting personal and team key performance objectives
    • Must maintain a professional demeanor
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.-- Applicants must submit a writing sample.
    • Must be able to interact effectively at all levels and divisions of the Department
    • Must possess a general working knowledge of legal terminology and principles
    • Detail-oriented and organized
    • Intermediate Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, DocuSign, and Adobe Professional skills
    • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
