  Position Summary:

  Our client, a North Dallas law firm is seeking a full-time Insurance Defense Litigation Associate/Partner. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, self-starter who possesses the ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a fun, collaborative environment. The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to providing the highest quality client service, be detail oriented, be able to identify and resolve problems promptly, and be conscientious concerning work completion and deadlines.

  What you will be doing:

  • 
    
  • Manage litigation and case defense of your own docket from start to finish
    
  • Strong research and persuasive legal writing skills required
    
  • Evaluate and analyze facts and provide legal analysis
    
  • Render opinions on liability, damages and assess the value of claims
    
  • Develop defense strategies for motion practice and discovery
    
  • Draft pleadings, motions and discovery
    
  • Handle depositions and examinations under oath
    
  • Attend hearings, mediations, settlement conferences and trial

    What you will need:

    • 
      
    • The attorney should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
      
    • Relevant experience includes defense of cases in state and federal court involving serious bodily injuries in the context of transportation, premises and products liability.
      
    • Demonstrated ability to work with clients and consistently meet or exceed expectations
      
    • Excellent communication skills in order to effectively convey case strategies and legal arguments
