Global Medical Response (GMR) is seeking a dedicated Labor and Employment Attorney specializing in Wage and Hour matters to join our dynamic Legal & Regulatory Compliance team. This position requires a deep understanding of federal, state, and local labor laws to ensure that GMR's practices comply with wage and hour regulations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing litigation risks, providing legal counseling, and supporting our commitment to high-quality patient care and rapid emergency response services across the U.S. Advise on wage and hour law compliance, including state-specific requirements and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Handle all phases of wage and hour litigation and disputes, from initiating or defending actions to negotiating settlements. Develop and implement policies and procedures to reduce the risk of labor law violations. Conduct regular compliance audits and training sessions for HR and management teams. Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide proactive legal guidance on employment matters. Strong knowledge of wage and hour law compliance. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and litigation skills. Ability to interpret complex legal documents and provide clear, actionable guidance.
