Job Description Job Description 2nd Shift Production Worker -Production worker, sanitation and assist machine operator in production process. -Lift up to 50 lbs. -Assemble and/or move materials around as needed to complete the main function (i.e., inspecting, pre-weigh, blending, mixing, packing, etc.) -Assist operator of equipment as necessary to accomplish tasks and meet targets. -Input and track production, safety, and quality data in Production Reporting System -Detailed cleaning and sanitation of plant equipment. -Load and unload product from the production line. -Ensuring daily adherence to the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Hazard -Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) Regulations -Inspection of packaged finished goods and ingredients. -Ensure the integrity and sustained certification of the food safety and food quality system. -Responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality issues from occurring. -Evaluating hazards, verification of measures and procedures that should be taken to achieve a safe work environment -Works in a safe manner and promptly reports hazards identified in the work environment. -Work involves the use of equipment controls, flour system, and blender recipe system. -All other duties assigned. Ability to compute whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. -Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carryout instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. -Ability to work in a fast paced environment -Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to effectively train others -Must be able to read work documents in English. -Strong focus on safety -Good understanding of plant quality requirements -Good working knowledge of GMP’s -Good attendance and work history -Strong team mentality Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
