Description: PUPOSE OF THE ROLE:The Vice President of Media, reporting directly to the company's CMO, is a critical leader within the organization, having 3+ direct reports, supporting a network of 1,400+ restaurants, and managing media investment funds. The Vice President Media is responsible for leading national media strategy and influencing local media in partnership with our national and local agencies to increase brand recognition and top of mind consideration. It is a position that will also play a key leadership role in building and elevating the talent through critical experiences and development. The key to success will be to develop and execute media strategies that drive industry-leading growth, lead and inspire agency teams, develop clear process and plans of action to drive alignment, and to lead cross-functional teams to flawless execution. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:? Build and execute a media strategy with set metrics and goals across channels through cohesive leadership with a variety of agency teams. Analyze data to determine impacts and drive strategy.? Create a climate of partnership and trust with the franchisee (brand partner) community to ensure communication of marketing strategies to assigned franchisees (brand partners) and co-ops to maximize opportunity/ ROI and deliver on brand standards. ? Negotiate media and marketing contracts, contractors and associated fees.? Assist with post-campaign reporting efforts outlining key learnings and creating case studies when needed.? Collaborate with digital, investment, social, content and research leads to construct informed data driven strategies.? Join forces with creative and public relations agency teams in partnership to develop and enforce brand approach toward business growth.? Manage business strategy and presentation preparation. Periodic creation of POVs and thought leadership pieces for clients and internal stakeholders.? Plays a key leadership role in the franchisee (brand partner) annual leadership meeting marketing strategy, content and franchisee (brand partner) sessions.? Develop direct team members through talent processes, consistent coaching and critical experience development. ? Develop marketing talent through coaching, mentoring and training. ? Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements: ESSENTIAL SKILLS:• Strong verbal, quantitative, and analytical skills• When necessary, the ability to work late nights and/or weekends• Exceptional written and communication skills• Proven written and face-to-face communication skills• Ability to work independently and request support and advice when required• Proven leadership qualities, a strong work commitment, and high ethical standards• Resourcefulness, team orientation, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit• Strong verbal, quantitative, and analytical skills• Excellent organizational and planning skills and the capacity to simultaneously handle a variety of complex, detailed matters under deadline pressure.• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.• Self-starter who works independently and is highly self-motivated; goal oriented.• Excels in a fast paced environment. • Energetic, proactive, innovative and flexible.• Comfortable working in a highly visible role• Attention to detail and the ability to work individually, within a multi-disciplinary team, as well as with external partners and vendors.EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: • 10+ years of media experience • Demonstrated experience building and executing digital/social media campaigns across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging social networks/technologies• Understanding of the impact of social media across all digital marketing channels (and the ability to discuss the ROI of social media campaigns)• Intimate knowledge of digital/online industry tools, key players and trends• Education - Bachelor's degree
