the position of Sr. Manager - HR Business Partner to support our
Logistics team in our Dallas , TX corporate office.
The Sr. Manager, HRBP is responsible for providing
leadership in developing and executing human resources operations
and strategy in support of the overall business plan of the
organization, specifically in the areas of employee & labor
relations, organizational development, training, HR management,
implementation of well-conceived and designed programs, and
synchronization of HR processes, systems, policies and procedures
pertaining to all HR activities in the Logistics, Transportation
and Renewables business units.

Strategically engage with business unit leadership to manage
employee & labor relations
Partner with business unit leadership to develop and implement
training, performance management, workforce planning and other
support as necessary.
Provide detailed and accurate reporting for headcount budgeting
Work with Shared Services to prioritize, serve as SME and
advocate for the business unit during design of HR.
Translate business plans and strategy into practical HR needs
for the business unit.
Ensure all HR policies, procedures, and processes are
Advise, provide guidance, and coach leaders within the business
on leadership and people development.
Foster a culture of informed, self-sufficient leaders focused on
actively leading their teams and leveraging appropriate HR
resources when needed.
Travel to operational assets to foster a strong field presence
for the HR function and build meaningful relationships with field
Participate in interviews for internal and external talent to
ensure each candidate aligns with the core values and can help the
business unit meet their strategic priorities.
Identify top talent internally and ensure proper development
Assist with HR Initiative Roll-outs such as: bonuses, merit,
employee survey, talent reviews and other initiatives as
Collaborate with shared services regarding business specific
reporting related requests i.e. affirmative action, veteran status,
Requirements - Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Considerable knowledge of HR principles, practices, and
procedures related to employee relations, organizational
development, training, and talent management.
10+ years of experience as Human Resources Business Partner in a
Experience writing reports and presentations, including creation
through analysis to all levels of the company, including the
Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to
utilize MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), the Internet,
and various HRIS applications.
Ability to effectively plan, set priorities, and manage several
complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to
Knowledge of federal and state laws relating to benefit plans
including ERISA, HIPPAA, COBRA and FMLA.
Superior written and verbal communication skills to effectively
address all levels within the organization.
Ability to represent the company effectively in a variety of
settings with a demonstrated understanding and appreciation for
Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in
dealing with matters of significance for the company.
Bachelors in HR, Business Mgt. or similar
Masters in Industrial Labor Relations, Business or Similar
