Description

As the Head of Sales Operations & Enablement, you will be responsible for owning sales process improvement initiatives tied to the GTM strategy of the business. Areas of focus include strategy & planning, sales intelligence, sales enablement, process design and management, deal desk, sales tech stack. The ideal candidate will have experience managing all aspects of sales operations. Strong candidates will have a strong financial and technical background and be proven at driving highly productive and efficient sales teams for a high growth software company in the enterprise space. This position will report directly to our Chief Revenue Officer.

A successful leader in this role will have superb verbal and written communication skills and will be comfortable building a team to strengthen our sales enablement and operations efforts, while also being able to roll up your sleeves to support the team with the day-to-day. Teamwork, flexibility, communication, and a willingness to learn are of the highest importance.

About the Role Development and implementation of short, medium- and long-term plans that align with corporate objectives and lead to the achievement of sales goals. Includes market analysis, GTM modeling, performance analysis, sales role definitions, territory optimization, quota management, compensation administration and forecasting.

Development and distribution of information and insights about prospects, customers, sales activities and assets that improve sales performance.

Development, automation, governance, measurement and improvement of sales and revenue execution processes.

Design and administration of sales opportunity-related activities that result in higher win rates and increased profitability.

Selection, implementation and administration of sales technologies that deliver user and business value.

Planning, execution and oversight of projects that improve sales performance, reduce administrative burden and/or improve profitability.

Introducing sales team members into the organization and helping them gain the skills, knowledge and behaviors needed to perform effectively and reach their goals.

Continuing education for existing sales team members on the skills, knowledge and behaviors needed to perform effectively and reach their goals.

Publishing, managing and delivering FireMon content for sales team members throughout the buyer journey.

Management of personnel and functions that execute sales support and administrative activities.

Required Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or equivalent combination of education and experience.

3 or more years’ experience leading Sales Operations for an enterprise-class software sales team, in a global B2B environment.

Expertise in Salesforce, Pardot, and associated sales enablement tools.

Ability to create process flows (in Salesforce and elsewhere) and implement and coach teams to be on process, and on target

Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with people from different disciplines and varying degrees of technical experience, at all levels within the organization and with external customers.

A strong work ethic, exhibiting leadership by example.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

The ability to solve problems creatively. Ability to develop and manage business solutions for complex problems.

The ability to hold yourself and your team accountable to results and the willingness to share your performance results transparently.

Strong interpersonal and relationship skills with a willingness to develop open and honest professional relationships.

An analytical mind with the demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions.

Ability to adapt to a frequently changing and growing environment, which may result in changed priorities or changed job duties.

Preferred Skills and Experience 3 or more years of managing people as a head of sales operations

Experience at a fast-paced startup or scale-up organization

2 years’ experience in a direct sales capacity

Strong track record in managing SFDC
