KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Power BI Platform Administrator to join our Digital Nexus organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate as key technical SME contributor for Microsoft Power PBI, Apps platform enablement and lead administrator for operational and Power support
  • Proactively work with the teams to identify technical problems, perform root cause analysis formulate solutions and execute on the plan; estimate scope and timelines, partner with other teams to drive solutions over the line
  • Create templates and code to automate solution delivery and deployment into public (AWS, Azure, GCP) and private clouds for a wide range of technologies across Windows and Linux platforms
  • Develop automated and manual tests to ensure code quality as solution is promoted between environments; Drive solution discovery and design of application deployments into public and private clouds
  • Manage competing priorities in a fast-moving enterprise and thrive in a complex environment; must be able to adapt to constant changing environment
  • Provide third tier support for operations and support teams; maintain deep technical and business knowledge of industry directions and trends in agile system development

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of senior level systems administrator experience, preferably in a large Hybrid Data Center production environment
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient in publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements
  • Deliver world class dashboard and analytics solutions using Microsoft's PowerBI and related Microsoft Azure services; excellent scripting and task automation skills utilizing Python, Perl or PowerShell
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing and requirement analysis; must be able to adapt to constant changing environment
  • Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
