The Consumer Lending team partners with other businesses across Wells Fargo to create and deliver transformational experiences that help customers gain access to credit. The vision for the Consumer Lending business is to leverage technology and data to make it simple for customers to easily access credit when and where they need it. Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices, as well as online and digital channels.

We are seeking a seasoned Data Analytics Manager who will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders in the development of new insights, decision strategies, and implementation of new data capabilities to support business objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to work across the CCS Business and drive the organization's adoption of modern Data Platform, Advanced Analytics, and Machine Learning capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business and tech stakeholders to identify the critical data needs and map them to key customer experiences
  • Generate insights and identify new opportunities to create business and customer value including developing business case
  • Business lead for mapping raw data from several back-end systems of record to a standardized data model fit for operational, analytical, and machine learning consumption
  • Partner with Data Science teams to develop, train, and deploy new Machine Learning models
  • Builds analytical capabilities and manages modeling, forecasting, reporting and/or data distribution tools and processes
  • Establish and promote Data Ops Best Practices in collaboration with Product and Tech teams
  • Participates in the formulation and articulation of vision for analytic opportunities and advancements and champion Data and Analytics best practices across the organization
  • Evaluates,recommends and implements strategies for developing and utilizing technical resources to predict, improve and measure the success of fundamentals and new initiatives linked to business outcomes
  • Lead new data/analytics capabilities and tool evaluations
  • Partner with enterprise teams to further the overall mission of modernizing data capabilities and meet LoB needs
  • Mentor existing team members and provide training and career growth opportunities
  • Recruit and retain industry leading talent for a growing organization

Salary range is determined by the location of the job.

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule:

Charlotte, NC - Min $105,000 MRP $150,000 Max $195,000

Dallas, TX - Min $105,000 MRP $150,000 Max $195,000

Raleigh, NC - Min $105,000 MRP $150,000 Max $195,000

May be considered for a discretionary bonus

May be considered for Restricted Share Rights or other long-term incentive awards

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling
  • 4+ years of management experience

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in a Quantitative Field
  • Understanding of data structures across various platforms and formats (including Hadoop) and how business uses data, including tradeoffs for various use cases
  • Prior experience with large-scale data transformations
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally across multiple lines of business and functions
  • Familiarity with DataOps concepts and End to End Operational and Analytical Data Pipelines
  • Conceptual understanding of Microservices and APIs
  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts
  • Experience with Cloud capabilities and applying them to Data and Analytics
  • Worked with Agile Scrum teams in any role previously
  • Self-starter with ability to operate independently with minimal oversight
  • Creative thinking to look for new solutions that meet customer needs
  • Strong process management experience with the ability to develop business process that encompass risk management, business outcomes, and efficiency
  • Previous credit card experience in data or analytics
  • Experience in using: Python, Spark, Jupyter, Databricks and SQL
  • Experience in using BI tools such as Tableau

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

NC-Charlotte: Min: $105,000 Mid: $150,000 Max: $195,000

TX-DAL-North Dallas: Min: $105,000 Mid: $150,000 Max: $195,000

NC-Raleigh: Min: $105,000 Mid: $150,000 Max: $195,000
