Internship - Helpdesk Technician

Solomon, the leading performance improvement company for the
global energy industry, is seeking candidates for an Helpdesk
Technician Internship. The intern will provide technical support
within the IT team. The intern will work with experienced IT
professionals to support the Dallas office. This position will take
care of end user tickets and assist with user issues. Must be very
organized, a self-starter, and have excellent customer service and
communication skills. Ability to work in a professional environment
and take on tasks and issues in a proactive and professional
manner. Must have extensive experience with Microsoft Windows 10,
Office 365, and Exchange.
- Undergraduate or Associates degree in Information Systems (or
other related degree) in progress or relevant experience for at
least 3 years.
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
to interact directly with users at all levels of the organization.
Must be well versed in Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365,
and other desktop applications as needed. Must have experience and
knowledge of deploying printers, office phones, desktops and
laptops. Should be familiar with Microsoft Active Directory,
Exchange and basic networking (LAN/WAN/WLAN) knowledge. Highly
organized multi-tasked with an eye for detail. Self-starter who
works well in a team environment.
- Successful candidate must be well organized and able to think
on his/her feet. Must be able to prioritize and be proactive in
triaging issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
to the user's satisfaction. Drive and participate in ad hoc
projects and tasks as necessary.
