Summary- Under the supervision of the AVP or
designee, the registered nurse provides holistic, individualized
patient care in response to identified needs of the general
medical/surgical patient. This position focuses primarily on the
post-discharge calls made to patients to optimize their safety and
quality outcomes. Additional functions to be performed in
accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in a manner consistent with
the mission and goals of the organization.
Follows patient and employee
safety/security policies and protocols, including hand hygiene, use
of universal precautions, use of personal protective equipment, and
adherence to isolation procedures.
Ensures patient/personal safety by
