About the Job Texas Instruments is seeking a senior UX Researcher who will set the strategic direction for UX research within the user experience design team based in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative in defining the UX research program, and committed to creating user-centered customer experiences with an "outside-in" mindset.This subject matter expert is focused on utilizing actionable research methods and design thinking to help our teams understand customer needs, behaviors, and expectations with the goal of informing customer experience improvements TI.com The UX Researcher works proactively with user experience design members, stakeholders, product owners to articulate qualitative and quantitative research data encompassing the user experience strategy and design of TI.com.Minimum Requirements: 10+ years of experience leading and managing user research projects for large enterprise-level websites Bachelor's degree in Human Factors, HCI, Cognitive or Experimental Psychology, Sociology, Computer Science or related field; post-graduate degree in a research or design discipline Proven track record executing all aspects of UX research shown in a portfolio (study design, recruitment screener, facilitation, analysis, reporting, and executive presentations). Responsibilities Initiate and establish a comprehensive UX research program focused on improving the experience of our design engineering customers who visit TI.com Align with management, UX Strategists, Creative Specialists, and Platform Managers, to set goals and priorities Work closely with project teams to understand their UX research requirements and recommend the most appropriate research methods to gather meaningful results Plan and conduct various UX research and testing methods, both generative and evaluative (e.g. moderated and unmoderated usability testing, persona development, journey mapping, surveys, Decibel Insights etc.) and compile results and data Synthesize data, analyze results and identify insights and recommendations that inform design decisions Effectively present and communicate research results insights and recommendations to stakeholders and project team Build and refine repeatable UX research processes that can be leveraged across the team Continually improve and optimize research templates, reporting and documentation in Confluence Collaborate with project teams to recommend solutions based on analysis of the research that is conducted Work independently and with others while being proactive and regularly handling ambiguous and challenging tasks Skills Self-starter with the ability to set goals and timelines to address the needs of the program Thorough knowledge of all data systems and testing platforms available to conduct effective research such as Decibel Insights, Google Analytics, Spotfire, Survey Monkey, UserTesting.com Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret user data, feedback, and behaviors Excellent communication, oral and written, presentation and public speaking skills Facilitation and moderation of tests with internal stakeholders and customers Gain a deep understanding of customer and business needs, site metrics and user test results Streamlining and optimizing research methods and reporting Extensive experience in user interaction, research and new product development Curious, creative, innovative, big picture, quick thinker, problem solver Business acumen, solid diplomacy and conflict resolution skills Strong negotiator with the ability to influence others Partnering across organizations and working with others to accomplish research goals Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines and detail oriented Successful applicants for this position must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
