You'll have the opportunity to do live outreach, educating members
about program benefits and services while also helping to manage

work a minimum of 40 hours a week as long as you meet your metrics.
This is a 100% remote position. Hours for shift assignments will be
in Arizona Time (PST).This is high volume, customer service
environment. You'll need to be efficient, productive and thorough
dealing with our members over the phone. You also must be able to
work a flexible schedule that includes evening hours.What we do

- Manage administrative intake of members
- Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team
to manage requests for services from members and / or
providers
- Process incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior
authorizations, including intake, notification and census
roles
- Assist the clinical staff with setting up documents / triage
cases for Clinical Coverage Review
- Handle resolution/inquiries from members and / or

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of customer service experience in a call center
environment
- Experience working with Microsoft Word (creating, editing,
saving documents) and Microsoft Excel (creating, editing, saving
spreadsheets)
- Experience working with a PC and windows applications, with the
ability to learn other sometimes complex systems
- Any experience working within the healthcare industry
- Working knowledge of medical terminologyTelecommute
Requirements:
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is
separated from other living areas and provides information
privacy
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if
applicable)
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group
approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing
high-speed internet servicePreferred Qualifications:
- Professional experience in a clerical or administrative support
related role
- 1+ years of experience working with ICD-9 / 10 and CPT
codes
- Experience working with health care insurance
- Experience working in a hospital, physician's office or medical
clinic setting
- Knowledge of ICD - 9 and CPT codesUnitedHealth Group requires

residents is $16.00 - $26.88. The salary range for Connecticut /
Nevada residents is $16.83 - $29.66. Pay is based on several
factors including but not limited to education, work experience,
