This is a fully remote position.Role and ResponsibilitiesSouthern Scripts is a rapidly growing PBM that builds industry leading technology primarily in the .Net stack leveraging Azure and using an agile development life cycle. Product Owner will work on a variety of projects including a proprietary CRM built for customer management and business automation, Member portal, iOS and Android Mobile Apps, APIs, Client Portal and Pharmacy Portal. Southern Scripts prides itself on using technology to deliver fully transparent prescription savings to our customers.The software development team is primarily remote with employee concentrations in South Carolina, Central Texas, Maryland, Louisiana and Chicago area. Candidates must be ready to work and collaborate with remote staff using tools such as Microsoft Teams.Responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of products for internal and external useWorks with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement.Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks.Creation of detailed Epics, User Stories etc for the development teamsPartners with stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.Develops, owns, and executes product roadmap.Story creation for internal and contracted development teamsAbide by all obligations under HIPAA related to Protected Health Information (PHI).If a HIPAA violation is discovered, whether individually or by another, you must report the violation to the Compliance Officer and/or Human Resources.Attend, complete, and demonstrate competency in all required HIPAA Training offered by the company.Flexibility to understand, appreciate and embrace that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Strongly Desired SkillsExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development processKnowledge and experience working with modern cloud based systems like Microsoft Azure and AWS HealthLakeSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkFull-time/Salaried/Exempt.Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 8:00AM to 5:00PM CST. We cover clients from West to East Coast, work times must be adjusted to cover meetings in all time zones.
