This leader will bring bold thinking, a deep passion for solving customer problems, an exceptional ability to accelerate velocity, and drive industry leading FinTech innovation.The Head of User Experience and Innovation will drive the direction, vision, growth and methodology for the Design team as well as establish best practices, facilitation and coaching for product discovery. We are looking for candidates who have extensive experience building strong teams, leading cross functionally withing complex environments through influence, and raising organizational maturity in Design Thinking.What you ll bring5+ years experience building and leading high-performing user experience teams7-10 year s of experience in user experience design or product innovation.Experience leading programs that build organizational maturity in Design Thinking, Product Discovery, and Rapid Prototyping/ExperimentationExperienced leader of distributed teams with sustained high levels of employee engagementDemonstrated domain/industry though leadership in FintechCustomer first mindset; extensive experience bringing to market customer facing product offerings; thinks and leads end to endExperience managing vendor/partners to deliver against service level agreement target measurementsDeep understanding of data capabilities, including how to use data to drive decisions and dramatically improve a customer experienceExperience working well through ambiguity, having confidence to make tough calls and lead through adversity with focus on the eventual right outcomesTrack record of delivering measurable, industry-leading growth, across both short and long term resultsEntrepreneurial; innovative; willing and able to challenge the status quo; a reasoned risk taker who makes data driven decisionsStrong leadership - excellent communication skills, collaborative, empowers others, understands facilitative leadership and change managementBachelor s degree in related field and/or equivalent experience. Graduate design degree, preferred.QualificationsHow you will leadLead and manage the User Experience team by creating a culture of high performance and productivity through accountability, clear expectations, and regular positive feedback, constructive recommendations, and/or other applicable means.Work on iterative processes, (i.e. Agile) as well as learn methodologies to effectively synthesize complex, interdependent, and sometimes competing needs, while effectively communicating design solutions across roles and levels.Develop design standards in the form of journeys, storyboards, site maps, wireframes, and prototypes to ensure the digital experience flows seamlessly from one step to the next.Develop standards re: conducting prototyping across a variety of mediums and needs: on paper, whiteboard, Axure, Sketch and other digital methods.Ensure teams collaborate on usability test plans; prepare interactive prototypes and mockups including page layout, macro and micro interactions, and navigational elements to test with users.Develop product discovery standards to accelerate cross functional teams in de-risking strategic initiativesFacilitate innovation sessions as needed with leaders across functions
