Do you enjoy working with children and families? Cook Children's Radiology Center has an excellent opportunity for an MRI Technologist at our Hurst, TX location. This position is responsible for performing quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging through the application of advanced technical knowledge while maintaining strict attention to patient care. This position provides excellent care and expertise for all ages from neonatal/newborn to adults.Hours: Fridays 10am-6:30p, Saturdays & Mondays 8:30am-5:00pm with other fill-in hours as needed.*Updated and competitive pay scale*$12,000 sign on bonus for those hired on/before October 2, 2022.*Half-time position with benefits including medical, dental vision and more.Required Education, Skills, Licensure & Certifications:Graduation from accredited program in Radiological Technology.Must be ARRT or ARMRIT Certified. (Note: If ARRT Certified, must be ARRT (MR) registered, or obtain ARRT (MR) certification within 18 months of hire).Texas licensed Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist.BLS Certified before start date (offered through Cook Children's).Good interpersonal skills.Ability to handle critical care situations.Preferred Skills & Experience:Possess a level of clinical expertise and competency in cross-sectional anatomy.2-3 years MRI experience preferredExperience working with pediatric patients desirable.INDMEDEOE/AA, Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran employer.Location: Cook Children's Health Care System - Radi-Hurst MRISchedule: Half-Time, Weekends, Fri 10-6:30, Sat & Mon 8:30-5
