Strategic Analytics Lead - Auto Risk

Job Description:

In this role, you will:

  • Influence business leaders through recommendations based on insights derived from advanced analytical techniques
  • Use your business acumen and analytical experience to monitor trends, perform root cause analyses, and proactively prescribe strategies to capture opportunities to drive business results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners and other analytical resources to utilize data in order to move from descriptive analysis to prescriptive and predictive analyses
  • Conduct deep dive analyses to proactively diagnose originations, dealer, fraud, portfolio, and/or industry and competitor trends, and provide recommendations to leadership to enhance performance
  • Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to all levels of the organization
  • Create executive level presentations and craft effective, crisp stories with impactful visualizations for senior leader consumption
  • Use state of the industry analytical tools, such as Python, R, SAS, and SQL to mine data for insights, build machine learning tools, and advanced analytics across the enterprise
  • Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross-functional with broad impact and act as key participant in driving the company credit culture, desire, and business performance for Credit Risk
  • Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsRequired Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of Credit Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications
      • Demonstrated advanced data and analytical capabilities
      • Credit policy and risk experience paired with strong analytic acumen
      • Proven ability to identify opportunities and develop innovative approaches leading to streamlined and efficient outcomes
      • Experience with auto lending
      • Knowledge of decision sciences tools such as Python, R, HADOOP and understanding of techniques such as Regression, Decision Trees, Neural Networks, Clustering, Dimensionality reduction etc.
      • Ability to research proactively on advancements in decision sciences and apply to business analytical problems
      • Knowledge of SAS and SQL
      • Strong collaboration skills - Demonstrated ability to successfully manage strategic issues with business partners across industry
