In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross-functional with broad impact and act as key participant in driving the company credit culture, desire, and business performance for Credit Risk
  • Review and analyze complex strategies, programs and policies with a direct and significant impact on credit risk appetite and culture
  • Receive direction from leaders
  • Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal and external customers
  • Collaborate with business for oversight of risk management
  • Interact with Audit, Legal, external agencies, and regulatory bodies on risk related topicsRequired Qualifications, US:
    • 5+ years of Credit Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:
      • Credit card and/or unsecured lending experience. Small Business Lending a plus
      • Experience in statistical modeling, data mining, strategy development/implementation and reporting
      • Collections or Recovery strategy experience. Digital collections strategy experience would be a plus.
      • SAS/SQL experience is preferred
      • An undergraduate degree in a quantitative field (econometrics, engineering, operations research, statistics, mathematics, etc.)
      • Good verbal communication, written documentation and presentation skillsJob Expectations:
        • Provide analytics to help improve Collections efficiency and effectiveness and make recommendations to senior management
        • Perform analysis and reporting to support management decision-making and strategic objectives with quantitative approaches
        • Work collaboratively and effectively with technical partners, business partners and strategy experts to help implement strategies, segmentation models and new technologies
        • Present results and recommendations to senior management
        • Keys to success in this role are the ability to develop innovative analytical approaches, work closely with collections and recovery operation partners, attention to detail, and be able to complete projects with minimal supervision.
