Your high level of accuracy and productivity helps us ensure the right products get to the right place at the right time!What you'll be doing:Conducts forklift, safety, and Pit B training programs for employeesConducts scheduled training for all functions in the account for all shifts Arranges and oversees weekly orientation sessions in basic safety training for new employees Evaluates training effectiveness to ensure employees meet strategic goals and achieve results Makes recommendations to the managers for go or no go into the accountMaintains and updates ISO filesSets up and maintains Safety Sam foldersCreates monthly safety topics to be administered by Operations - Performs safety drills - Organizes and oversees annual safety weekOrganizes and oversees Top Gun setup and training Maintains, renews, and tracks forklift training certification status for personnel - Assists new employees in on boarding, including: new user logins, passwords, equipment, and barcode creationLogs trouble tickets with the Corporate IT department and follow-ups to ensure quick resolutionOther duties as required and assignedRequirements:High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalencyMinimum 3 months experience and/or training preferredAbility to work overtime as neededAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 poundsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentWhy GEODIS?We're not just any warehouse.
