Job Description:
Position Purpose
The Heavy Equipment Operator - Sanitation handles large equipment
at the landfill such as, motor graders, excavators, dozers,
compactors, articulating dump trucks, etc. to contribute to the
daily operations of the landfill and serve the citizens of the
surrounding areas.
Essential Functions
1Operates an off-road truck to haul, move, and spread dirt, mulch,
crushed concrete, and other materials to their desired locations
within the landfill.
2 Handles additional heavy equipment when necessary to improve road
services, spread garbage, build berms, sweep roads, and dig
postholes.
3 Performs any and all other trades work as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION:
* High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
