• We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect (Hybrid IT/Desktop) for our Solutions & Offerings Group.
  
• The successful applicant will understand the complex integration of one or more areas, innovate solutions, operate strategically understand and apply long-term business goals, influence the development of technical architecture/specifications for internal systems, and provide leadership to the IT organization.
  
• This would include articulating the architectural vision, conceptualizing and developing alternative approaches, and validating such approaches against requirements and assumptions.
  
  
  Main Responsibilities:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Works on pre-sales proposals, including creating architectural designs, pricing, and internal and external documentation.
    
  • Collaborates with and understands business goals and direction and translates to architectural decisions concerning Hybrid IT/Desktop architecture.
    
  • Leads the conceptual design of highly complex systems.
    
  • Consults on systems integration, compatibility, and scalability issues on multiple platforms.
    
  • Complies with all standard internal controls and processes.
    
  • Participates and follows all processes as defined by client.
    
  • Creates and presents the business case and ROI analysis to senior management.
    
  • Expert knowledge of several disciplines within Hybrid/Desktop in addition to expert knowledge of key technologies such as Active Directory, IAM Services, Mobile Device Management, desktop application packaging, image management (SOE), productivity tools, asset management, and BYOD.
    
  • Depending on the team's workload, is willing to be involved in some projects outside their area of expertise under the direction of the relevant experts in those areas.
    
    
    Qualifications:
    
    
    • 
      
    • Minimum 10+ years of IT experience and 2-5 years experience as a Hybrid/Desktop Solution Architect.
      
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Statistics, or equivalent education and work experience.
      
    • Masters or Ph.D. level degrees would be an advantage.
