Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled, experienced licensed
Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team. In this role, you will
report directly to the top producing Team Loan Officer and be
responsible for converting leads into loan applications,
originating loans, structuring financing solutions, and delivering
outstanding service to clients. Your ability to build strong
relationships with realtors and other industry professionals will
be instrumental in achieving success in this position. Job
Responsibilities:
- Conversion of Leads: Actively engage and convert leads
generated through various channels into loan applications.
- Loan Origination: Manage the entire loan origination process,
including gathering client information, assessing eligibility,
analyzing financial documents, and preparing loan
applications.
- Loan Structuring: Collaborate with clients to identify their
financing needs and structure loan options that align with their
requirements and financial goals.
- Client Meetings: Conduct in-depth meetings with clients to
discuss loan options, explain terms and conditions, answer
questions, and ensure a smooth application process.
- Realtor Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong
relationships with realtors, builders, and other referral sources
to generate leads and enhance business partnerships.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with all
applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Accurately
prepare and maintain loan files and documentation.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Team Loan
Officer and other team members to streamline processes, exchange
information, and provide excellent customer service.
- Market Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, market
conditions, and loan products to offer clients the most suitable
financing options.
- Performance Metrics: Achieve and exceed assigned targets for
loan production, conversion rates, customer satisfaction, and other
performance indicators. Qualifications -and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator or a similar
role in the mortgage industry.
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage loan products, lending
guidelines, and underwriting processes.
- Strong understanding of federal and state regulations governing
mortgage lending.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively
engage with clients, realtors, and team members.
- Ability to analyze financial data and assess
creditworthiness.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management
skills.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or
exceeding targets.
- Proficiency in mortgage software systems and other relevant
