We believe by reducing the administrative burden and enabling providers to get properly reimbursed for their services, will allow providers to prioritize the needs of their patients more and improve our healthcare system Job Summary: The Provider Relations Representative is the direct liaison between Provider1st and our provider/customer network, fostering a strong and collaborative relationship with physicians and their office staff. This position is responsible for providing physicians and their staff with technology updates, ongoing education and training, and tools and resources to drive performance and growth. Working closely with internal teams, the Provider Relations Representative will address provider requests in a timely manner and proactively identify issues and recommend solutions, while specifically focusing on key performance indicators for improvement opportunities as well as growth and profitability strategies. This role requires a knowledge of provider office operations and provider reimbursement structures as well as customer service excellence and relationship building. Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary point of contact, fostering a positive and collaborative relationship with physicians and their office staff.
• Ensures that customer service excellence is maintained during every interaction with provider and their office staff.
• Maintains a regular cadence of touchpoints with assigned provider offices (in-person, virtual, and telephonic), documents all interactions, and responds to all issues in a timely manner.
• Informs provider offices of education and training opportunities, encourages providers' attendance at town hall meetings, and schedules quarterly joint operating meetings with provider offices and IPA leadership.
• Collaborates with internal teams to resolve issues while maintaining appropriate communication with provider offices regarding updates and feedback.
• Schedules and provides orientation and onboarding to new providers and their staff.
• Shares performance metrics and dashboards with providers, monitors key performance metrics, and engages with staff to address opportunities and gaps.
• Participates in improvement initiatives and/or projects related to quality, patient experience, and value-based care.
• Investigates industry trends and competitive strategies.
• Provides updates to leadership on a regular basis and proactively escalates issues as needed.
• Works closely with leadership on day-to-day efforts as well as special projects and ad hoc duties. Essential Requirements:
  • Ability to travel to local provider sites. ( 25%)
  • 2+ years of experience in provider relations, network management, or healthcare management.
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, Managed Care operations (Quality, HEDIS, HCC, etc.), contracting including capitation.
  • Experience selling to private practice physicians.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel and work in the field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
