Social Media SpecialistThe Social Media Specialist is a full-time position that will work with the Director of Communications, as well as the Social Strategy and Content Manager to help execute a clearly defined social marketing strategy. This position will monitor and contribute to all relevant social opportunities to increase brand awareness and effectively engage Careington's many audiences on a consistent basis while driving sales from social media.The role can be worked Remotely, with attendance at times at our Frisco, TX, location required. Candidates must live within a 50 mile radius from Frisco, TX.EducationBachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field is preferredMinimum QualificationsStrong experience and understanding of major and developing social media platformsExperience managing paid social media campaigns and identifying key target marketsExperience managing social media accounts via Facebook Business Manager, TweetDeck and SocialPilot (or other social management platforms)Strong command of writing and editing practices, including proficiency with Associated Press Stylebook guidelinesExperience in digital marketing, Inbound and Google Analytics a plusAbility to create content for multiple audiences and varying media, with variability in tone and styleDetail-oriented and disciplined with the ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environmentRoles & ResponsibilitiesHelp manage social media presence of all Careington companies and brandsCreate original content across all social media platformsCreate and monitor paid social campaigns and develop strategies to drive sales and increase brand awarenessMonitor and elevate brand reputationCreate video content regularly, with a good understanding of video creation and editingCollect and analyze customer data to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategiesPromote interaction and conversation with consumersReputation monitoring and brand managementIf you do not possess the educational requirements/minimum requirements, your application will not be considered for employment.
