The Senior Patient Care Coordinator performs all duties at an
expert level within a Patient Services Representative's scope of
practice. The Senior Patient Care Coodinator has supervision and
process improvement of any clerical components (ensure answering
calls in a timely manner, ensure front desk coverage) in
conjunction with completing PSR duties.
Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, no weekends
Office Location: 3150 Matlock Rd., Ste 405, Arlington TX, 76015
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, guidance, support and direction for the
front office and non-clinical staff
- Function as first contact for customer service issues
- May assist to coordinate work of other team members
- Resolve complex issues rarely deferring to
supervisor/manager
- Serves as PSR mentor and trainer and provides expertise as SME
to PSR staff
- Lead may need to be willing to travel within their own market
for coverage, training, support needs, assisting with training
newly acquired clinic locations, etc
- May perform regular PSR duties to include: Greeting patients;
Complete check-in and check-out tasks; Collecting co-payments,
co-insurance, and deductibles; Answering phones, scheduling
appointments, re-direct calls as appropriate, and assist callers
with questions or concerns within the PSR scope
- In addition to regular PSR duties, at least 50% of time must be
dedicated to clinic metrics/projects/initiatives as deemed by
clinic leadership. Examples include but are not limited to the
following:
- Onboards new PSR's
- Trains PSR's
- Safety Champion
- Clinic Policy/SOP champion, develop awareness/knowledge of SDO
process to assist CA in administrative preparations
- Actively involved in assisting the role out of any new
trainings
- Performs all other related duties as assigned What are the

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 2+ years of experience working in a medical environment
- 1+ years of experience demonstrating leadership ability
- 1+ years of working knowledge of general office procedures
- 1+ years of experience in a role requiring strong communication
and customer service skills both in person and via phone
- 6+ months of experience mentoring and training others
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this
role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster
doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth

well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of
vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to

Qualifications:
- 1+ years of Senior PSR, Lead or supervisory experience
- ICD 10 and CPT coding experience
- Prior experience with EMR computer applications
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficient in PC software computer skills such as Microsoft
Word, Excel, Power Point, and other departmental specific
programs/applications
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) To protect the health and safety of
