Location: Medical Center-ProsperDepartment:Radiology-CT ScanShift:Standard Weekly Hours:4Summary:This position is accountable for performing quality CT/Diagnostic Imaging through the application of advanced technical knowledge while maintaining strict attention to patient care. This position is accountable for providing expertise for all ages from neonatal/newborn to adults. The patient acuity ranges from stable outpatients to critically ill patients on full life support. Education: 1) Graduation from accredited program in Radiological Technology. 2) 2-3 years pediatric CT experience preferred. 3) Possess a level of clinical expertise and competency in cross sectional anatomy. 4) Good interpersonal skills. 5) Must have the ability to handle critical care situations which can create a high level of stress Certification/Licensure: 1.Must be AART registered. 2.Must be AART (CT) registered, or obtain registry within 18 months of hire. 3.Texas licensed Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist. 4.AHA Certified.About Us:Cook Children's is an EOE/AA, Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran employer.
