DescriptionThe Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the assigned Bank's Operation team. The role facilitates departmental workflow,ensures that work is properly safeguarded and controlled in accordance with bank policies and procedures, and provides guidance, training, and leadership to staffwhile ensuring quality service is provided by the team. The Operations Supervisor is expected to work with a high level of independence on issues and assignedprojects. Duties include:

• 
  
• Supervises the day-to-day operations of the assigned operations team, and manages hiring and scheduling of employees
  
• Supports department manager in the development and training of employees and tracking of long term goals for the team
  
• Supports department manager in the development and implementation of new policies, procedures and processes
  
• Maintains current and accurate knowledge of the bank's applications, ancillary systems, and compliance regulations
  
• Participates in the annual budget preparation process and is held accountable for managing overhead costs while managing staff and processes to ensure costs aremaintained within budget guidelines
  
• Communicates and collaborates with bank personnel and local, state and federal authorities as appropriate
  
• Coordinates the development and training of employees
  
• Manages productivity and service standards ensuring procedures, deadlines and requirements are met
  
  Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred
    
  • 5 years of banking or similar financial processing experience
    
  • Previous leadership experience preferred
    
    Skills:
    
    • 
      
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Word; basic keyboarding and calculator skills; must be able to do simple math and carry out written instructions
      
    • Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential functions of the position
      
    • Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30 lbs.
      
    • May require work on physical bank premises
