Job DescriptionEntrust Energy is looking for motivated sales associates to educate residential prospects regarding the deregulated electricity market in Texas. The Associate will uncover the customer needs (i.e. wants lower rate, wants green energy, get better customer service). Once the customer’s situation is analyzed the Associate will recommend an Entrust Energy product/price that meets the needs of the prospective customers and they switch to Entrust Energy as their electricity provider.Our Associates conduct in person, over the phone, or virtual appointments with prospective customers. The Associate is a hunter role which will drive their own lead production through their personal and professional network, cold calling, social networking, and canvassing.
The Associate will:• Make warm and cold calls to set up appointments, will follow up with leads and referrals• Conduct a minimum of ten (10) sales appointments per week• Review and analyze customer bills from their current Retail Electric Provider (REP)• Based on analysis of the bill, make renewable product and billing rate recommendations to the customer• Solicit questions to solidify the customer to make a decision to switch to Entrust Energy as their REP• Once customer is closed, initiate Third Party Verification (TPV) call and hand off to the TPV agent• Upon completion of the TPV call, the Associate will do a recap with the customer to ensure all questions about changing to Entrust Energy are answered• Associate needs to win three (3) to five (5) referrals per week from closed customers
