Call Center - Customer Service Representative / Agent

Position Purpose:
A-MAX Auto Insurance is looking for talented individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our fast pace sales team, as Customer Service Representative / Insurance Sales Agent. As a CSR / Sales Agent you will work with a team that shares your desire to win while helping thousands of Texans in finding low cost insurance products. Position pays a competitive wage with growth opportunities and those that are disciplined and driven will succeed!
Job Responsibilities:
-Assist customers with various types of insurance needs ex. automobile, motorcycle, home, travel, fire, and property and possibly specialized policies such as marine or commercial needs depending on license type. Converting leads to sales in an inside sales environment.
-Provide excellent service by explaining features, advantages and disadvantages of various policies to promote the sale of insurance plans.
-Overcome objections and close the sale
-Handling both inbound and outbound calls to serve A-MAX customers
-Handling email and chat to assist our customers with their policies
-Collect all documents and pictures as per the underwriting guidelines. Contact underwriting and submit forms to bind coverage as needed.
-Verify insurance coverage at the request of lienholders, dealerships, etc.
-Assist customer with communication of insurance claims to ensure quality customer service.
-Perform administrative tasks, such as completing paperwork, filing, maintaining records and handling policy renewals daily
-Create and maintain business relationships with prospects and policyholders
-Utilize proper CRM tools and systems
-Manage the resolution of customer complaints and escalate all unresolved issues/complaints
-Perform effectively in environments with frequent workload changes and competing demands
-Work directly with the Call Center Supervisor and Call Center Manager to enhance and learn new skills through coaching and training sessions. Attend meetings and trainings as needed including completing continuing education courses as required to maintain active license status with TDI.
-Goal oriented: highly motivated insurance sales representative that is resourceful to achieve results with a sense of urgency
-Problem solving ability: apply and balance conceptual and analytical thinking by breaking down complex problems, evaluating alternative sources of action and their likely outcomes, and selecting the best alternative
-Pay close attention to detail and accuracy

-High School Diploma or GED
-Customer Service/Insurance Sales Experience preferred
-Basic knowledge of Insurance Industry, is a plus
-Hold a valid and current County Mutual, Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required) -One time $250.00 sign-on bonus to those active Property & Casualty License holders

Experience/Successful Requirements:
-Good organizational and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
-Basic Computer knowledge and possess strong written, verbal and people skills.
-Demonstrated intermediate to advanced written communication skills (spelling, grammar, and punctuation) and verbal communications skills.
-Able to work independently with minimal/no supervision. -Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability, and ethical behavior.
-Ability to quickly learn any Company/Proprietary software is necessary.
-Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, but not required
