Job Description:
About: The Marcus Graham Project (MGP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
organization dedicated to empowering the next generation of
advertising, media, and marketing leaders from diverse backgrounds.
MGP in collaboration with Mixto Agency is looking for a dynamic
group of (25) Greater Dallas area students and professionals for
its five-day Beauty & Fashion Marketing Vault. MGP Beauty and
Fashion Vault Purpose: The MGP Beauty and Fashion Vault is designed
to bridge the gap between Black and Latino talent in the industry
and aims to provide aspiring professionals with access to
educational resources, networking opportunities, and a chance to
engage with industry experts. Participants of the Beauty and
Fashion Vault marketing workshop will be briefed on specific
creative challenge in the industry and will work in teams to
develop a multi-platform marketing campaign that allows them to
showcase their skills and ideas to industry professionals and guest
panelists. The workshop will include sessions focused on: Beauty &
Fashion Entrepreneurship Resume & Portfolio Review Digital
Marketing Trends Personal Branding Brand Strategy Influencer
Collaborations Selling & Copyright Job & Internship Opportunities
Brand & Agency Exposure Benefits: Connect with industry mentors who
can provide guidance, advice, and support throughout your career
journey. Access to networking events and panel discussions
featuring experts from the beauty and fashion sectors. Engage in
real-world projects related to beauty and fashion marketing to
apply the concepts learned in workshops. Create a personalized
profile showcasing your background, skills, and accomplishments to
share with potential employers or mentors. *Glow-Getter
Opportunity: Exclusive chance for one exceptional participant to
secure an opportunity with (insert company name) and an internship
with our partner MIXTO. In addition there will be multiple
opportunities for participants to network with MGP Alumni, local
Beauty and Fashion Professionals and partnering brands hiring
mentors. Candidate Criteria Must have a strong passion and desire
for the beauty and fashion marketing career field. Must be willing
to learn an extreme amount of valuable information in a short
period of time. Must be 20 years of age or older. Must be a
resident of Dallas or willing to travel at your own expense.
