SUMMARY OF POSITION:Responsible for strategic pricing development through advanced software tools to achieve enhanced margin, sales revenue and quote conversion rate. Responsible for at least two of the companys product lines.II. DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES (End Results Expected):1. Pricing strategist with strong analytical skills for at least two product lines, ensures that margins, sales revenue and quote conversion rates are enhanced for the product lines.2. Establish business and pricing rules to enable selection of optimal product line prices based on market intelligence.3. Collect and report results on quoting effectiveness, price compliance, margin improvement and sales revenue growth. Make recommendations for improvements.4. In coordination with the Product Line Management team, prepare pricing strategies based upon overall margin analysis, market strategy, competitive information, customer usage and our customer growth strategy.5. Share established pricing best practices and knowledge of balanced margin revenue trade-offs with pricing analysts and Product Line Managers6. Manage all special pricing requests for customers in defined market segments. Follow established pricing guidelines set by Product Management and escalate where needed to win more business.7. Perform margin and pricing analysis to support key business initiatives as required.8. Identify price/margin erosion and assist sales and product management team in constructing and implementing solutions.III. INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:Team player able to work with the global Sales team and Product Line Management Organization.IV. COMMUNICATIONS:ORAL: Excellent knowledge of English language, clear and concise communication techniques are required to communicate instructions and present ideas, concepts, and solutions to all levels of employees. Must be able to communicate with customers directly and resolve issues quickly to avoid delay in execution of agreements. WRITTEN: Must have excellent English writing skills to develop and issue instructions, present ideas, concepts, and solutions to management as well as customers. Must possess the ability to write reports, letters, memos, and prepare graphs and charts.V. SCHEDULING AND PLANNING:Daily schedules must be developed and followed to coincide with function of other Marketing and Sales support organizations and to meet customers required due dates.VII. BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing or related areas or equivalent combination of education and work experience in electronic sales and marketing. MBA Preferred. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: 5 years of pricing experience, 3 of which are related to analytical techniques in electronic component or related industry. Have progressive experience in market planning, analysis, development and pricing. OTHER SKILLS: Proficient in use of personal computer and software such as MS/Word, MS/Excel, MS/PowerPoint and MS/Project, Access and Model N VIII. EQUIPMENT OPERATED:IX.
