We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to operate out of the Greater Chicago or Dallas, TX markets.

Position Summary:
Analytics and Solution Development:

  • BI development and administration.
  • Developing visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using BI.
  • Adept in maintenance, publishing, and scheduling BI reports as per the business requirements.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements for reports and dashboards, as well as data enrichment, cleansing, and transformation requirements, rules and processes; on how to problem solve for an approach on the data sets required; and on the methodology required.
  • Perform data discovery and analysis and develop clear and concise communications and presentations to business partners.
  • Serve as Product Owner and thought leader of BI for commercial and revenue operations teams.Tools and Reports Development:
    • Support the development of reports and dashboards & support of commercial objectives and the priorities of the revenue operations team.
    • Support the development of tools and reports for end users, including developing requirements, reviewing user stories, participating in testing and prototyping activities.
    • Train teammates on a 1:1, via video or group basis on the use of key tools, reports, and dashboards.
    • Serve as "super user" of custom and 3rd party applications, advanced querying and complex data aggregation and analysis not supported by a single application.
    • Engages with and contributes to Pregis Data & Analytics / Business Intelligence best practices and knowledge sharing on analytics and tools across the enterprise.Strategy, Process and Tools:
      • Develop BI environment to support and measure strategies for business partners.
      • Own and develop BI for Revenue Operations.
      • Build Dashboards around CRM, sales, and financial data.
      • Support Revenue Operations in ad-hoc analytics and overall business strategy
      • Influence and evangelize analytical methodologies to support business partners' needs.
      • Identify and implement opportunities to standardize processes through analytics and tools.
      • Develop and refine best practices to enhance the influence of analytics and insights across commercial teams.Experience/Qualifications:Education:
        • Bachelor's degree in Business / Finance / Marketing / Operations / Computer Science or related field required.Related Experience:
          • 2-3 years demonstrated successful experience in data analysis using BI tools such as - Tableau (mandatory)
          • Experience connecting to databases & writing basic SQL queries.
          • Experience with OData Connections preferred.Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
            • Business Strategy and Analytics1. Strong cross-functional business acumen with experience across multiple business functions; Sales, Service, Finance and Supply Chain preferred.
              2. Excellent data manipulation and analysis skills.
              3. Ability to think logically and analytically.

                  • Proficiency in the following required:16. MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel (e.g., pivot tables, vlookup, if-then statements, etc.), PowerPoint, and Word
                    17. Data querying methodologies and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Alteryx/Knime)
                    18. Cloud-based data warehouse environments
                    19. Data visualization and analytics tools - Tableau (mandatory)
                    • Location: Chicago, IL preferred. Remote work options will be considered
