Job DescriptionDescription:The duration of the mission is about 15 months and the job is located into our Dallas office. Regional / international travel may be required from time to time (infrequent).Purpose of the Job:
The Senior Business Process Owner for Order-To-Cash Upstream will contribute directly to the program working within the Operations division.
As business process owner senior for Order-To-Cash, you plan, direct, and coordinate activities for sophisticated processes, including existing process mapping, gap analysis, evaluation of requirements, process design and implementation of business processes for Order to Cash. You understand the process operating objectives, business rules, performance requirements, risks, controls and manage interactions between dependent processes to minimize failures, eliminate redundancies, and control process performance vital to achieve efficient, effective design and execution of the process. You support alignment of process to overall experience strategy and vision.
To succeed into your mission, you will work closely with a second Senior BPO for Order-To-Cash Downstream.Essential Job Functions:
The scope of Order to cash for EOA Operations includes: order entry, order orchestration, production & sourcing* , delivery of which order management , logistics activities such as warehousing, packing, shipment.
*Sourcing is including demand management, inventory control and procurement.
Order To cash exists for 2 main streams:
1st / Upstream: From Distribution Centers to Labs where a Lab is a manufacturing entity.
2nd / Downstream: From Labs to Eye Care Professionals.Scope of the job : Upstream domain with Order Entry , Order Orchestration, Sourcing*, Warehousing and Delivery.
What is not in the scope: Downstream domain with Order entry, Order Orchestration, Production and part of delivery including order management.Essential job functions:
Drives the existing process mapping of order to cash processes for EOA Supply Chain division and gathers business requirements. To do so, animates workshops with identified stakeholders in Operations, Finance, Data Management, Commercial & Sales ... , delivers all necessary documentation (Synthesis , detailed mapping preferably in BPMN 2.0, RACI, KPI) .
Designs/Enhances standard processes following Essilor corporate guidance, animating workshop with EOA stakeholders and in coordination with the Senior BPO for Downstream. Serves as functional specialist bringing varied perspective to demonstrate multiple ways of thinking while developing end-user focused process solution
Co designs of a gap analysis methodology with the BPM team members.
Performs gap analysis coordinating all necessary stakeholders from businesses, IT and Corporate department using the methodology available.
Synthetizes, prioritizes, measures the risk and builds actions plans to fill the gaps and get sponsorship for their execution.
Coordinates actions plans execution and necessary change management with stakeholders. Delivers weekly report for progress.
Animates discussion with IT department to identify proper solution fitting automation needed and/or to measure impacts of the new target IT solution on organizations.
Provides written business requirement to IT functional Architect and assess the fit of IT deliverables.
Delivers relevant documentation for policies, SOP, RACI, KPI, job description and Governance of newly target standard processes for Operations.
Utilizes reporting, data, and analytics to measure process and project performance, deliver process operational efficiencies, and advise key stakeholders.
Develop communication plan for internal customers, sponsors and stakeholders
Provides support to Operations businesses all along the new processes implementation.
Other duties may be assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The ideal candidate has a deep-rooted knowledge of Supply Chain and has a mindset of breaking down a problem, identifying risks and gaps and finding balanced solutions to support our journey to Integration with Luxottica.
Proven Skill in Demand Planning, Inventory Control, Procurement and Warehousing with similar size industry, especially in term of number of references to manage. (-500.000 different SKU) .
Analytical skills.
Ability to implement/enhance order-to-cash processes and organize necessary change management based on data-driven decisions.
Skill in planning, organizing, and managing workload and priorities.
Able to organize work, set priorities and oversee for accomplishing work in a timely and effective manner.
Able to animate workshop to gather information related to process mapping and modelling activities , business requirements and get stakeholders alignment using proper methodology ( VSM, etc)
Able to organize information and write necessary documentation for process description, business requirement, reporting .
Able to communicate and to work collaboratively with the all managerial scale (from top management to key users) on complex issues and with a high level of effectiveness.
Ease with technology ( Software, Functional Architecture) .
Know how on process mining, BPMN 2.0
Able to work in an environment with frequent interruptions and changing tasks and priorities.
Ability to handle information and data with confidentialityEducation and Work Experience:
Bachelor's Degree OR 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
10 to 15 years' business process execution for order to cash with a recognized expertize on Warehousing, Demand Management, Inventory Control and Procurement /knowledge/experience, consulting, and/or process engineering/optimization.
Experience in successfully applying quality management, process improvement, and problem-solving tools and methodologies.
Experience in implementing and sustaining change/improvements (change champion).
Hands on experience with Process Mapping, Modeling, Creating and validating process documentation (Policies, SOP, RACI, KPI, job description) on a similar size organization.
Experience in the application of process management standards and policies for Industry (APQC, APICS ), and knowledge of risk management practices.
Demonstrated experience with Lean, Business Process Management, or similar methodology.
Demonstrated experience with utilizing various systems to collect and analyze data.
Collaboration to a successful SAP deployment within a similar size organization would be appreciated.
