Job DescriptionInfosys is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to play a key role in managing client's Infrastructure Engineering along with Disaster Recovery activities.Required Qualifications:--- - - Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Coppell, TX or, Dallas, TX, or Tampa, FL, or Jersey City, NJ, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US--- - - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education--- - - At least 11 years of Information Technology experience--- - - At least 11 years of working experience in Infrastructure Engineering and ITIL Processes--- - - Manage the needs of the clients' production support services to ensure highest client satisfaction--- - - Own the bottom-line responsibility for Service Delivery and Operations--- - - Provide 24X7 support for the client such as: performing client interaction along with onsite/offshore coordination for efficient delivery.--- - - -Good working knowledge and understanding of the following Infrastructure components for efficient execution of the project: - - ---- - - VMWARE 6.5 virtual infrastructure - - ---- - - Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and 7 - - ---- - - Oracle Database 12c and 19c - - ---- - - VMAX3 storage - - ---- - - Autosys Scheduler--- - - -Support processes along with knowledge on ITIL processes such as: change management, incident management, and problem managementPreferred Qualifications:--- - - Excellent Communications and client interaction skills along with exceptional written and verbal skills as well as technical documentation--- - - Extraordinary Planning, Project Management, Coordination, and Analytical skills--- - - Hands-on experience in working in Global Delivery Model with onsite/offshore resources--- - - Experienced in Cloud (AWS) is preferred but not required--- - - Team management and Client management experience is preferred: including driving efficiency initiatives at project and account level--- - - High-level understanding on support functions and should be able to work with clients to manage the Infra support from Infosys' perspective--- - - Functional knowledge on Infrastructure support with focus on Distributed environment involving Linux, Database, VMware and Storage capabilities--- - - Readiness to work in 24X7 support environmentThe job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
