Position Overview
AIT is seeking a Customer Service Supervisor to join our team! The
Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for the daily contact
with customers and also assists with freight quoting and routing.
In addition, they will help maintaining profitability for the
station and supervise customer service agents.
What You Will Be Doing Day-to-Day
Monitor inbound/outbound emails and monitor phone activity.
Assist the team with quoting and routing requests
Assist with general Freight Forwarding customer support inquiries
in a high-volume requirement.
Supervise staff with Cs responsibilities and adjust staff to handle
new customers and projects
Manage payroll, time off requests and assure overall CS Department
coverage
Assure overall CS Department quality and efficiency
Look for process improvement opportunities and drive to
implementation.
Own/assign projects related to driving customer experience
improvement.
Assist with general Freight Forwarding customer support inquiries
in a high-volume requirement.
Other duties assigned as the business deems necessary

Other Skills We Hope To See
High School diploma required; Associates Degree or equivalent
3-5 years of experience in freight forwarding or customer
service/operations/supply chain/logistics industry
Quoting and routing experience preferred
Must be proficient with Microsoft suites
AS400 strongly preferred
Strong problem solving skills with ability to develop new ideas and
innovative solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be detail-oriented and able to time manage
Ability to work in an extreme fast-pace environment, high movement
and pressure
Works well individually and team setting.
