you'll play a key role in the development of company standards and
scheduling techniques. This hands-on role will give you the
opportunity to directly impact the scheduling capabilities over a
broad range of projects in various stages of development. By
analyzing and monitoring the project's critical path, you'll
prepare reports, develop alternative solutions, and drive
successful project completion.**District Overview**Mass. Electric

performance for our clients.**Location**The MEC Transportation
District office is centrally located in Irving, Texas to support
all projects nationwide. We are a 10-minute drive to Dallas/Fort
Worth Airport and 30 minutes to downtown
Dallas.**Responsibilities**--- Develop Mass. Electric's
company-wide scheduling standards and practices. Lead a group of
schedulers working on individual or multiple projects across the
company.--- Perform quality reviews and evaluations of individual
project schedules across the company, and report on those findings
to upper management.--- Identify projects in need of in-depth
scheduling analysis, such as Time Impact Analyses (TIAs), due to
owner deays, other contractor interruptions, design changes, or any
other considerations. Perform those detailed analyses and report on
findings to upper management.--- Help develop software integration
processes, that link our construction management budgeting
software, to P6. Roll out these processes to scheduelrs across the
company.--- Work closely with project managers, engineers,
designers, procurement staff, construction managers, contractors
and other project services staff to provide detailed planning and
scheduling of projects from conceptual planning through engineering
and construction.--- Develop resource loaded schedules, including
lists of activities, major milestones, critical approvals, long
lead procurement items and other critical project deliverables to
be scheduled and tracked for the projects.--- Develop schedule
logic and constraints, realistic activity durations and available
manpower and resources.--- Assess the impact(s) of design changes
and schedule slippages and inform company management and clients of
all schedule updates.--- Apply vast knowledge of engineering,
procurement and construction terminology and concepts to develop
and maintain critic path logic networks; accumulate and access
historical data for use in maintaining realistic future planning
and forecasting.--- Provide guidance, direction and specialized
assistance for the resolution of difficult project control
problems. May interface with clients, attend regular meetings and
give statistical reports.\#LI-SL1**Qualifications**--- At least 5
years' construction scheduling experience, including three years of
proven leadership experience directing scheduling functions---
Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes,
standards, etc., plus an in-depth understanding of the
interdependence and relationship between other functional units---
Working knowledge of standard cost control methods utilized in the
execution of various types of project (EPC, Joint Venture, Lump
Sum, time and Material, Maintenance)--- Strong proficiency with
Excel. Ability to compare P6 data to excel data. Ability to perform
imports and exports of data from excel to P6, and from P6 to
excel.--- Bachelor's degree in construction management,
engineering, or technical training and related
