Job Description:
This position is primarily responsible for designing,
developing, debugging, and testing all electrical systems of
hydrogen refueling equipment. Applying knowledge of engineering
principles to designing, standardizing, and improving product
offerings by performing the following duties.
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other
duties may be assigned.
Responsible for design accuracy and thoroughness
Needs to meet project schedule requirements
Needs to be able to do electrical schematic, PCBA, and cable
design
Needs to be able to select and qualify electrical
instrumentation
Needs to be able to develop firmware and applications level
programming on embedded electrical systems in C, C++, or similar
languages
Needs to be able to design, deploy, and maintain modular and
scalable systems of connected devices
Needs to be able to create electrical system test equipment for
factory acceptance testing
Other duties as identified by the business
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 5 to 7+ years of
experience in embedded systems design.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have
knowledge of AutoCAD Design software, Software Integrated
Development Environments (IDEs) for embedded software design,
National Instruments TestStand (or equivalent), Parts Management
software (PTC Windchill, Microsoft Dynamics AX), Internet browsers,
Project Management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Relies on experience and judgment to perform the functions of the
job.
Performs a variety of tasks, including Project Engineer.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Works with little supervision. Self starting.
CSA, UL, ATEX, HazLoc, EMC, EMI, FCC, LVD, NFPA, NEC, RoHS, WEEE
Code Knowledge
The base compensation range for this position is $94,000 to
$130,000 per annum. Your actual base salary will be determined
based upon a number of factors which may include relevant
experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials
(education, certifications), and internal equity.
