Position Summary
Javelin Energy Partners is an exploration and production company looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated I&E Technician I to add to our team. Your duties will include assisting other field employees and engineering staff with installing new, and troubleshooting existing automation, and measurement devices. To excel in this position, you must be a proactive problem-solver with good communication. This non-exempt position will be based out of our Altamont, UT field office.
Responsibilities

• Assist with communication system
  • Manage field towers
  • Manage Wi-Fi
  • Troubleshoot/repair down communication
  • Participate in leading safety program
    • Monthly safety meetings
    • Field safety meetings
    • JSA reviews
    • PSSRs
    • Programming and maintenance of Scada packs and roc systems
    • Cross training with peers & develop lease operators
    • Troubleshoot measurement issues
    • Troubleshoot Burner management systems
    • Manage and maintain servers
    • Install & Repair Meters
      • Radars
      • Rosemounts
      • Coriolis Meters
      • Flare Meters
      • MVT
      • Program and Install GL Meters and Valving Controls
      • LACT Meters
        • Troubleshoot
        • Rotate weekend on-call for I&E Qualifications
          • 3 years' oil and gas experience
          • Previous experience with SCADA, and ROC systems is preferred
          • Electrical license is preferred
            • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
            • Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques
            • Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings
            • Effective problem-solving abilities
            • Must be well organized and can prioritize tasks
