Dedicated local drivers enjoy the many privileges that come with having consistent customers. This permanent full-time position gives you a better idea of the number of miles and hours each week holds, which means you'll have a better idea of what to expect in every paycheck. And because you know your customers and their typical freight load, you're less likely to be surprised or slowed down by unusual shipments.

• Competitive pay:
• Average $1,280 per week / $66,500 per year
• Starting pay of $31 per hour
• Reaching top pay of $32 per hour within 12 months with cent per 3 month increase
• Average 40-45 hours per week
• Home every day
• Primarily Monday - Friday with some weekend work
• Start time between 6 and 7 a.m. / end time between 3 and 4 p.m. (sometimes could be later)
• Routes will run from Irving, TX to Metro Dallas and some Houston
• Deliveries will be chemicals in totes or drums all palletize mostly dock deliveries with customer unload
• No unloading but some deliveries will need to be moved to the rear of the trailer with customer provided pallet jack and delivery customer will unload with forklift
• Some drop and hook, mostly customer load/unload
• Product is chemicals in totes and drums, drivers will be required to have HazMat and Tanker CDL-A Dedicated Local Truck Driver Benefits:

    • Must live within a 50-mile radius
    • Minimum of 6 months' verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years
    • Must be 21 years of age or older
    • Must have Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsement required
    • No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years
    • No convictions for DUI within the past 5 years
    • No suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years
    • No serious violations within previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too close, improper passing, traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with fatality
    • No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
    • No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years Essential functions:
      • Open/Close Trailer Doors - force requirement: 46 lbs
      • Count freight
      • Complete fuel tickets
      • Obtain sales leads
      • Hook/Unhook trailer - force requirement: 90 lbs (Class A Only)
      • Perform pre-trip inspections
      • Drive
      • Regular predictable attendance
      • Enter/Exit a Commercial Motor Vehicle
      • Enter/Exit the rear of a trailer from ground level
