Bonus----Job Description:----To work interdependently and
cooperatively to meet and exceed the expectations of the customer,

or personal standards.--Summary:--MIZKAN AMERICA Dallas facility is
a 24 hour production facility operating seven days a week.-- The
operational format will mandate those maintenance personnel to have
a flexible schedule and being on call during production and
sanitation periods.--Maintenance personnel will assist all members
of the MIZKAN AMERICA team in assuring proper operations of all
MIZKAN AMERICA Dallas facility, storing, and processing, packaging,
warehousing and building systems.-- These duties will include but
are not limited to predictive/preventative maintenance and include
maintenance/repair of all storing, processing, packaging,
warehousing and building maintenance systems.--All maintenance and
repairs are to be in accordance with the equipment manufacturer
recommendations, using appropriate parts from approved
suppliers.--The description is a partial list for duties and
responsibilities.--Essential Duties & Responsibilities:--Food
Safety & Employee SafetyMaintenance personnel will have a thorough
understanding of all GMP's, SSOP's, SOP's, HACCP and OSHA programs
and procedures.--(At no time shall equipment safety devices be
by-passed.)Lockout/Tag out procedures must be used/followed at all
times.Proper Personal Protective Equipment shall be used at all
times.----Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
(continued)--------------------Employee ResponsibilityIt is the
responsibility of maintenance individuals to become competent with
all equipment in use within the MIZKAN AMERICA Dallas facility.Job
assignments will be either verbal/written or listed on a weekly
maintenance task list.-- These job assignments will be produced and
coordinated with plant management and production.--Employee
DutiesComplete assigned Work Order sheets according to
priority.Complete Preventive Maintenance worksheets as
assigned.Respond to maintenance calls during production for
necessary repairs to reduce and/or avoid production
downtime.Maintain "Parts Out of Inventory" documentation, to help
manage parts inventory.Continuously performing parts and tool
reconciliation,Maintain clean and organized work areas, keeping
shop floors, tables, and equipment / tools clean.Assure proper
operation of all building safety systems.----Skills &
Abilities:Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam,
plumbing and mechanical systems, instrumentation and their
operations. (ex. VFD's, Actuators, Boilers, Heat Exchangers, Pumps,
Motors, photo-eyes, proximity switches, level probes, flow
meters)--Ability to read and understand technical documents,
drawings and blueprints.Strong electrical and mechanical
troubleshooting skills are required.Basic knowledge of shop
equipment (ex. Drill press, welders, grinders, lathes).Intermediate
level of welding ability of Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel, using
Tig-Mig, and Stick weldersMotivated self-starter, with the ability
to work under minimum supervision.Basic computer skills are
required.2+ years experience in a manufacturing or production
facilityExperience with packaging equipment (ex. Conveyors,
fillers, labelers, case packers, palletizers)Intermediate level of
general facility maintenanceAbility to estimate materials and parts
for repairs and projectsOther tasks assigned by managementBasic
working knowledge of forklift maintenance--Physical Demands:Work
environment requires various amounts of standing, bending and
walking while carrying tools and parts.Must be able to lift 50Lbs
without the aid of others.Moving between and working in hot and
cold environments.
