Job Description

As a Planner on the Supply Chain Team, you will make a positive impact by:

• Reviewing supplier production plan to ensure short and long term support of customer demand.
• Managing daily output of finished goods at assigned production sites.
• Planning and organizing shipment methods of transportation (ie, ocean, air, rail, etc) based on customer needs.
• Performing required transactions in SAP system.
• Directly communicating with suppliers.
• Analyzing supplier performance data and reporting appropriate metrics.
• Preparing weekly reports to monitor the current status of each supplier site.
• Proactively working to find process improvements and improve team efficiency.
  
  Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a supply chain role
    • Proven experience with supplier management preferred.
    • SAP experience preferred.
    • Manufacturing experience could fill supply chain experience requirement.
    • Skills:
      • Strong oral and written communication skills.
      • Ability to meet tight deadlines, working in a fast-paced environment.
      • Drive to always be looking for process improvement opportunities.
      • Strong proficiency in MS Office.
      • Abilities:
        • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
        • Flexibility to change course with short notice and reprioritize tasks.
        • Education:
          • Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field strongly preferred.
