Regional Area Sales Executive

Meriplex has two growth openings within our Strategic Consultant
(new logo/acquisition) team. We are looking for candidates
interested in joining an established organic growth team to drive
value across our portfolio to include MSP, MSSP, telecommunication
and other (XaaS) IT solutions to our new customers. Candidates
should have experience and be familiar in assuming the role of
trusted advisor driving value in selling to the mid-enterprise
market, be consultative in their approach, and strategically
minded. We are looking for someone comfortable in presenting to the
C Suite. The successful candidate will be excited to lean on their
previous experiences to provide our customers with technical
solutions through thoughtful targeted sales initiatives.
This role is based in Houston or Dallas where Meriplex currently
holds physical offices. These roles will report to the Sales
Department Leader and have operational support based out of
- Proven ability to work effectively with and across all levels
of business and IT contacts within large or complex organizations,
mapping value back to all lines of Meriplex solutions.
- Work succinctly within establish channel/partner eco-system to
maximize Meriplex pipeline, brand, and value, while building out a
plan for success in your assigned territory.
- Partner with the marketing/channel team to ensure effective
targeted marketing and event strategy within region be a thought
- Responsible and accountable for providing excellent customer
service and representing as the face of Meriplex through all
- Successful negotiating competitive solution proposals
highlighting Meriplex business value and customer ROI.
- Proactively preforming multiple potential customer outreach and
sales activities with an understanding that much of your time will
be spent in front of potential customers; face-to-face or
virtually. This includes full utilization of the CRM to provide
accurate, timely, and detailed forecast funnel of opportunities to
meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
- Interaction with key stakeholders helping to drive sales
through the finish line and onward to upsell. Build and maintain
rapport and trust within the organization through frequent
communication, responsive ownership of deliverables, and
collaboration with colleagues.
- Comfortable operating in the land and expand and referral
mindset. Desire to not just meet your goals but far exceed
- Develop and maintain a high level of working knowledge about
Meriplex products, services, and solutions. Active participant in
training sessions targeted to the sales team.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university/college
preferred. Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field highly
- 3+ years
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience required.
- Intermediate to advanced CRM skills, ConnectWise experience
- Experience with Cisco route and switch, and/or SDWAN highly
- Proactive nature to develop business opportunities
- Proficient at handling escalated and/or elevated customer
negotiations with professionalism and respect.
- Self-starter who takes initiative, works well with limited
direction, and has experience with companies pursuing and
undergoing rapid growth.
- Excellent spoken and written communication, interpersonal, and
relationship building skills.
Standard Meriplex business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with the
ability to have a flexible schedule due to work volume and proposal
deadlines are a must. Ability to travel up to 25% may be required
based on customer requirements.
