Department Description: The MuleSoft Enterprise Corporate Sales Team is a newly formed quota carrying sales team that will be responsible for building ACV in net new land/add-on accounts under a threshold. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a complex sales cycle, working with Strategic Account Executives to build momentum in accounts, influence and close business with our most strategic customers.
Role Description: Enterprise Corporate Sales at MuleSoft is our volume based business focusing on deals less than $275K selling across all product lines to expand total growth in Strategic accounts. As a global Vice President for Enterprise Corporate Sales you will play an integral part in establishing and expanding our footprint in the world's largest accounts. This position is a coaching and developing role where the leader will focus on transactional growth and developing sales talent.   • Provide support and guidance to direct reports by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required
  • Development of a winning team, including recruiting, hiring and training
  • Coaching direct reports on strategies to drive sales wins
  • Partner with MuleSoft RVP's to influence win rates, deal velocity and deal size of our most strategic deals across the globe
  • Accurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting to senior sales management
  • Consistent monitoring of the sales activity of the team, and tracking of results
  • Actively leading and monitoring demand generation activities
  • Leading initiatives to drive customer awareness and engagement
  • Develop and implement successful sales campaigns
  • Engaging at C-level in enterprise customer organizations
  • Capable of successfully handling significant client escalations and issues
  • Develop required Corporate relationships and Executive engagement to support success
  • Work with sales, marketing, product, and professional services teams to develop the GTM motion for ECS Requirements:
    • Strong demonstrated and proven software sales experience.
    • 5+ years of experience as a manager, preferably 2nd/3rd line leadership experience, leading teams.
    • Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals
    • Consistent track record of building satisfied, loyal, and referenceable customers -
    • Shown success working within a highly matrixed organization and establishing strong relationships across all functions
    • Consistent track record to create impactful teams and lead them to success.
    • Excellent presentation and executive engagement skills.
    • Excellent negotiation skills.
    • A self-starter that can thrive in a fast paced environment.
