As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing
and implementing a relationship management plan for potential
customer accounts as well as identifying and building relationships
with relevant decision makers and influencers within the customer
organization.
JOB DETAILS
In this role, you will develop a personal network within the
business sector and represent the organization at business sector
events. These events will allow you to obtain market intelligence
and enhance the visibility and reputation of the organization, its
products, and its services. This knowledge attainment will enable
effective two-way flow of information, the creation of account
plans and customer acquisition strategies, as well as the
resolution of issues between customers and the organization.
You will develop your capabilities by participating in assessment
and development planning activities as well as formal and informal
training and coaching. You will gain and maintain external
professional accreditation to improve performance and fulfill
personal potential through the utilization of performance
management systems. You will be responsible to input relevant data
into a CRM system in order to capture pertinent information to make
better business decisions. At Wabash, a Regional Sales Manager will
maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external
regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education,
attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

* Minimum of 2-4 years combined outside sales and industry
experience
* Bachelor's Degree: College Degree Major Desired- Business
Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or Sales
* Excellent ability to listen and strategically question
* Strong ability to balance both business and customer needs when
negotiating
* Excellent organizational skills with a strong ability to
multi-task in a fast-paced environment
* Must be able to work at all levels of an organization - both
internal and external customers
* Must exhibit excellent leadership skills and be a recognized
resource within the sales and across the enterprise
organization
* Must demonstrate strong business acumen utilizing a full
understanding of the implications of business level decisions
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Must be willing to travel up to 80% of the time
* Working knowledge of SAP
