Project Sales Coordinators need to be highly motivated, andgoal oriented behind the scenes, orchestrating the flow of information,tracking deliverables, and resolving issues. Their attention to detail andtheir relationships with colleagues-customers, team members, architects,technical department, vendors, workers-is what keeps our projects movingforward and on time and produced with the highest quality.
The Project Sales Coordinator I has responsibilities centeredaround project controls. These are shared with others and include schedule management,document control, project documentation, submittal management, procurementmanagement, quality control, commissioning, training, and close-out management.But, in general, the project sales coordinator will do much of the work toaccumulate, process, document, and summarize data for operation managers andexecutives to utilize in their roles as risk managers.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain documentation of project developmentand revisions including project schedules/timelines and forecasting.Provide regular progress reports, updated schedules andproject correspondence. Actively search for ways to assist the team.Engage with technical department to ensure the technicalaccuracy of specific design details. Identify problems and initiate appropriatecorrective actions.Must be thoroughly familiar with our product portfolio andmanufacturing capabilities. This information will be used in developingproducts that are profitable.Communicate customer priorities to CAD programmer, ProductionManager, and Operations support, as necessary.Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales analysisand tracking. Maintain and manage outcomes dashboard.Responsible for quality improvements in the sales process.Meet the needs of external and internal customers relatedto the program and the manufacturing team's need for successCalculate cost(s) for quoting all project needs. Centerpoint for all customer cost conversations.Develop meaningful relationships with customers (wholesalebusiness to distributor business sales) to encourage trust and loyalty.Understand and demonstrate the product or service to thecustomer.Respond to customer quote inquiries, write purchase orders,review templates, follow up with customer through delivered product, resolvewarranty issues.Improve sales skills to increase sales success rates. Learnhow to listen for common objections and utilize sales training to overcomethem.Meet sales goals and objectives as defined by leadership.Help grow existing accounts by fostering professionalworking relationships with team while supporting sales team as a technicalresource during soliciting of new business.Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or financerequiredEducational or work experience/knowledge with technicalprojects preferred1-3 years of project management or sales preferred.

Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, typing, and workingon a computerFrequent periods of standing and walking through thefactory on concrete in non-climate-controlled environment.Must be able to move and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.Visual acuity to inspect products.
